We’re so grateful for your flexibility with our church schedule! Since there’s a bit of time between the ceremony and reception, we’ve put together a few ideas to help you enjoy the afternoon. Below are a few of our favorite spots and activities to make the most of your time before we all gather to celebrate.

Beach it!

Note: Folly Beach has a strict no alcohol rule policy on the beach. That said...cups are your friend! No glass or styrofoam.

Bert’s Market

202 E. Ashley Ave, Folly Beach

Swing by Bert’s for groceries, beer, wine, deli, and more—they’re open 24/7 and have pretty much everything you need. Liquor can be bought next door at Folly Liquors.

Chico Feo

122 E. Ashley Ave, Folly Beach

Our favorite beach bar! Make sure to order the Samari Sling or pork tacos. It's very casual, and there are no TVs if you plan to watch the Masters.

Play Pickle Ball

510 E. Erie, Folly Beach

Download the CourtReserve app on your phone, select Folly Beach Recreation, and book your pickleball court.

Lost Dog Cafe

106 W. Huron Ave, Folly Beach

Best breakfast spot on the island—definitely worth the wait (which moves quickly!). Kickstart your day with their bloody mary or mimosa.

Bowens Island Restaurant

1870 Bowens Island Rd, Charleston, SC 29412

Bowen’s Island is the spot for fresh, local seafood—and it’s our personal favorite!

Lowlife Bar

106 E. Hudson Ave, Folly Beach

Great spot for a post ceremony brunch or cocktail! If you decide to eat here, the burgers, waffle fries and brussels are a go-to. Plus a loaded Hamm’s.

Taco Boy

113 E. Ashley Ave, Folly Beach

Great spot for lunch, dinner, or drinks with a view on the top floor. We suggest making a reservation on Resy if you are going for dinner with a larger group!

Center Street Coffee

103 E. Cooper Ave, Folly Beach

Swing by for your morning coffee and a quick breakfast bite!

Revelry Brewing

13b Center Street, Folly Beach

Grab some beers from a local brewery!

Where to Lunch After Ceremony:
